La Plage 45 Beach Club

Grand Hotel's private beach club and restaurant

featured in Beach clubs Updated

Just a short walk through the hotel garden and you can sink your feet into the soft white sand of the Grand Hotel's private beach, or enjoy a refreshing dip in the water.

Deck chairs, parasols, Bali day beds and leather ‘beds’ are all available for your comfort at the seaside under the clear blue skies of the Côte d’Azur. There are a large choice of water sports available including windsurfing, diving, surfing, body boarding, jet skiing, sailing, water skiing and parasailing.

Escape the throngs on La Croisette, quietly sip a cocktail and, at nightfall, soak up the atmosphere of what is sure to be a memorable evening. The private beach is open from mid-April through to late September and is closed at all other times.

Worth knowing

For a really peaceful time at the seaside, be sure to reserve your ‘bed’ on the pontoon at Le Grand Hotel’s private beach.

The Restaurant

A fashionable beach restaurant in the Croisette area, where you are able to savour Mediterranean cuisine on a large terrace with garden and sea views. You can try these delicacies in the restaurant before basking in the sunshine on the beach or even on a pontoon, or be served on your sun lounger.

  • "Whenever I am in Cannes I always head to Plage 45. Not the crazy party beach like many of its neighbouring beaches, which is perfect for me, yet not lacking in atmosphere. The beds are fantastic, large and comfortable. Service is fault free and the food and cocktails are second to none. Five big glittering starts from me!" - Tripadvisor
  • "This is a great spot to relax and get some sun and have some wine. The location is prime." - Tripadvisor
